On Saturday 16th of September, three aircraft from the Spanish Air Force arrived at Groningen Airport Eelde, the Netherlands, to pick up Spanish military and their equipment after an exercise wich was held at the Marnewaard (a military practice village). |

... while the other aircraft, a C-295M with serial T.21-03/35-41, is seen here some moments later. The C-295 is the improved version of the CN-235 with an increased payload and range. The length of the cargo-cabin has been increased by three meters and can carry up to 71 soldiers. Note that this aircraft can be refuelled in the air. |

The third Spanish Air Force aircraft arriving at Groningen Airport Eelde is this KC-130H Hercules (serial TK10-11/31-53). This aircraft is assigned to Ala 31 which is based at Zaragoza. |
