Tactical Leadership Programme 2005-3 |
Between 18 April and 13 May 2005, the third TLP-course of 2005 was held at Florennes, Belgium. Aircraft and/or helicopters from Belgium, Italy, Germany, Portugal, United Kingdom, Spain and Turkey. The Royal Air Force participated in the air to ground role during this TLP with Tornado GR.4A's from 2 Squadron. This Tornado GR.4A, with serial ZA373/H, is seen here in take off. |
Another Royal Air Force Tornado in take off. This time a Tornado F.3, the ZE295/DC, from 11 Squadron. The Tornado F.3's flew air defence missions, while the GR.4A's flew in the air to ground role. |

Rarely seen are the Spanish Navy EAV-8B Harriers. Three examples, based at Rota, came to Florennes to participate in this edition of the TLP. One of them, the VA.1B-39/01-927, is seen here departing for the final mission. |

At the end of the TLP-course, various transport aircraft arrive at Florennes to pick up equipment and personnel. Several arrived on the Thursday. One of them was this Spanish Air Force C.295M, serial T.21-05/35-43, from Ala 35. Another Spanish CN.235 arrived the same day as well as two Turkish Air Force Transalls. |
The Turkish Air Force participated in this edition with several F-16's from 143 Filo. One of them, F-16D, with serial 87-0002, is seen here returning at Florennes. |

Several Hawk T.1A's participated in this TLP as external assets. These Hawks are assigned to 19(R) Squadron based at RAF Valley. |
