Belgian Helidays 2003 |
What started in 1998 with 15 helicopters from 5 different countries and 12.000 people visiting this event, has grown out to be the largest helicopter meeting in Europe. The sixth edition of the Belgian Helidays was held from 30 May until 1st of June and attracted 30.000 people. Target of the organization was to get more then 100 helicopters on static and flying display. They succeeded; 101 helicopters from 16 countries could be seen at Liege-Bierset during the Belgian Helidays. Again, the organization succeeded in getting very interesting helicopters this event. Good examples are the two Italian Air Force NH.500E's and the French participants. All the photographs are made during the arrival of the participants, on the Friday prior to the open days. If you want to see a report of the previous edition of the Belgian Helidays, take a look at the Belgian Helidays 2002 page. Compliments must be made to the people of the organization! I am looking forward to the seventh edition. |
