European Trainer Meet & 25 years Alpha Jet |
The Belgian Armed Forces Air Component, formerly known as Belgian Air Force, was celebrating 25 years of Alpha Jet. Reason enough to organise an European Trainer Meet. When the Belgian have something to celebrate, they often organise a day for aviation enthousiasts as well. On the 29th of June, the European Trainer Meet took place at Beavechain, the home base of the Alpha Jet. The organisation succeeded in getting interesting aircraft to Beauvechain. |

Several French participants arrived, including a couple of TB.30 Epsilons of the EPAA 00.315 wich is based at Cognac. One of them was this TB.30 Epsilon, 127/315-YR. |

| Mirage F.1B, 520/33-FD, arrived at Beauvechain, wearing invasion stripes. The Mirage belongs to EC03.033 which is based at Reims-Champagne. |

Another highlight at Beauvechain was this brand new Pilatus PC.9M of the Irish Air Corps. Pilatus PC.9M, serial 267, was recently deliverd and is seen here taxiien. |
The Italian Air Force showed up with a MB339CD and this MB339A, wearing serial MM54492/61-36. At the end of the day two other Italian aircraft ( two SF-260AM trainers) arrived at Beauvechain. |

The Danish Air Force came to the Trainer Meet with this T-17, serial T-407, of the FLSK. |
| Another aircraft celebrating its anniversary is the Hawk. The Royal Air Force provided this Hawk T.1, XX159, with special markings and a flag on the tail. |

One of the Belgium Alpha Jets, serial AT18, recieved a special color scheme. All the Alpha Jets are assigned to 1 Wing. Unfortunately, they will move to Cazaux. The first aircraft already departed to Cazaux in France. |
